At Physics Capsule (“PhysCap”, “we”, “us”, “this website”, “our”) accessible from https://physicscapsule.com we take the privacy of our visitors seriously. This page details the types of information we collect and/or record and explains how and why we use it. It also details the third-party services used on this website and its allied services.

Log Files

Physics Capsule follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, Physics Capsule uses ‘cookies’ to improve your experience on this website. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimise user experience by customising our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information such as better loading previously visited pages, changing colour schemes and other such preferences.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Google DoubleClick DART Cookie

Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site. They use cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visits to other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Physics Capsule has no access to or control over Google DoubleClick DART Cookies. These are handled by Google alone.

Third-party policies

Third-party ad servers, ad networks and other services use technologies like cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Physics Capsule, which are sent directly to users’ browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that Physics Capsule has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. Third-party content you will find on this website includes Google AdSense and other webmaster services, Youtube embeds, Twitter embeds and Vimeo embeds among others.

Physics Capsule’s Privacy Policy (this page) does not apply to other advertisers or websites. We advise you to consult the Privacy Policies of the respective third-party ad servers or services for more information about their policies. It may include their practices and instructions on how to opt out of certain services.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, please consult the makers of your browser.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Physics Capsule does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best to promptly remove such information from our records permanently.

Our newsletter service is handled by Mailchimp and donations made in our support are handled through Patreon. Both of these services collect your information to keep track of users who seek these features and to offer said features to users who have signed up for them.

In all cases no information collected, most importantly your e-mail address, is used for any purpose by Physics Capsule, Mailchimp or Patreon other than to offer those services for which you signed up. If you have not already done so you may subscribe to our newsletter for free and also set up a monthly donation in support of our work starting from as little as \$1.
